Dr Ajat Sanikop (MBBS, MRCPsych, Post graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry) is a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist and he is on the General Medical Council Specialist Register. Since 2003 Dr Sanikop has prepared approximately 30 to 40 reports per year in both Criminal and Civil cases.

Dr Sanikop commenced his Higher Specialist training with Maudsley rotation in London. After completion of his training he joined the Llanarth Court hospital as Consultant in 2007. His experience in all kinds of secure hospitals (Low, medium, high, community and open forensic rehab) has made him able to provide high quality of medico legal reports. His reports are in line with the Civil Procedural Rules (CPR) and Criminal Procedural Rules (CrPR) standards.

He is section 12 (2) approved with wide area of expertises in various fields relating to mental disorder. He is flexible and has various consulting rooms. He can see clients in their homes, Prisons and Solicitors offices. He is prepared to travel throughout the country.
