Dr Gowda is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist on the General Medical Council Specialist Register.

He has prepared reports as part of his clinical duty for the purposes of Employment Tribunals, Mental Health Review Tribunals, Section 35 of the Mental Health Act 1983 and as an Expert Witness in Child Care Proceedings.

He holds the ‘Medico-legal Expert Witness Certificate (Family)’ by The Inns of Court School of Law and InPractice, and his clinical experience encompasses all aspects of child and adolescent psychiatry assessment and management.

Dr Gowda is also able to write reports for family, criminal and civil courts.
