Dr Davidsson works as a consultant within the Southessex Partnership Foundation Trust and also runs a successful private practice in the South Essex area.  He is a visiting consultant at Dukes Priory Hospital, Chelmsford.  He has more than 20 years of experience in his field both nationally and internationally.  

He treats all forms of adult mental illness and has a special interest in anxiety disorders, mood disorders, post-traumatic disorders, substance misuse, transcultural psychiatry (including asylum rights) as well as psychosexual disorders.  He has worked as a consultant for the local Criminal Justice Mental Health Team for the last 6 years (special interest session).

He is published in both peer review and popular press articles.  Dr Davidsson is able to give consultations in English, Swedish and German.  He has undergone formalised training as an expert witness by Bond Solon as well as by other providers.  He is listed in the Expert Witness Directory.

He sees clients in the Southend on Sea area and home visits by arrangement.
