Dr C.V.R. BLACKER. (FRCPsych. MD), Consultant Psychiatrist since 1985, is a full time practicing clinician. He received the Laughlin prize for the MRCPsych, he has received several other awards and in 1993 was made Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Previously Senior Lecturer University of Exeter he has an academic background with a special interest in Depression, Anxiety and the interrelation between psychiatry and medical illness. He is principal author of over fifty research articles, reviews, and chapters.

He has 18 years experience of Medicolegal work in Personal Injury, Employment Tribunal, Medical Negligence, and Occupational Stress/Health. He has a reputation for doing more complex cases which require careful forensic analysis.

He is willing to see clients anywhere in the UK but his main consulting rooms are in Bristol, Bath, Exeter, Torquay and Truro. He is a member of the UK Register of Expert Witnesses and he undergoes annual medicolegal CPD.
